About Jones
Jones provides holistic support to help you build a better relationship with nicotine.
We help nicotine users take control of their health by combining FDA-approved nicotine replacement therapy mints, community, and digital behavioral support. We’re growing quickly and looking for a Director of E-Commerce and Lifecycle to refine our DTC shopping + subscription experience and scale our lifecycle program of 50,000+ quitters.
This is a rare opportunity to join an early team backed by top investors, own a significant part of the business, and play a defining role in how we reach and support the next million quitters.
About the role
The Director of E-Commerce & Lifecycle owns everything that happens after the click to our website: the Shopify store, conversion, merchandising and offers, the subscription experience, and the full lifecycle program in Klaviyo.
What you'll own
Ecommerce
- The Shopify store end-to-end: site experience, PDPs, checkout, speed, and the roadmap for all of it
- CRO: a standing test program on landing pages, PDPs, and checkout, with a clear read on what moved the number and why
- Merchandising and offers: pricing, bundles, first-order and subscriber offers, gifting, and seasonal moments (BFCM, New Year, product launches)
- Landing pages for paid social and podcast traffic, built with personalization around our messaging buckets and tested deliberately
- The subscription experience: sign-up flow, plan options, skip/swap/cancel, and the subscription tech stack
- Site analytics and reporting: GA4, Triple Whale, Shopify. You know the difference between traffic-mix problems and site-quality problems, and you can tell the team which one we have
Lifecycle
- The full Klaviyo program (with support of an email agency): welcome, abandoned cart and browse, post-purchase, subscription onboarding, winback, and everything in between
- Email and SMS calendar (with support of an email agency): campaign strategy, segmentation, cadence, and the creative brief to the design team
- Retention and churn: cohort analysis, churn reasons, save flows, and the offers and messaging that keep subscribers past the first few months
- Subscriber lifetime value as a number you track, forecast, and move
